Assessment Selection

Your students are listed by year group (together with anniversary dates automatically calculated for the National Standards page), displayed under each subject area

Can I view a summary of my class assessments including anniversary dates?

  1. Under the Achievement tab the Assessment Selection summary page provides links for entry of student results together with subject tabs including National Standards together with the anniversary dates for assessment which have automatically been calculated for you.   For the National Standards tab, under Reading, Writing or Mathematics the student's year level dictates either the anniversary date, Year End OTJ or both, for display. Select the date or OTJ under the appropriate assessment column, or heading, for entry of OTJ and save comments.

  2. For example to enter Running Records data, in the English tab click the 'Running Records' link for relevant list of students, or SEA. For Mathematics assessments click the Mathematics tab; and Science tab etc.

  3. Click 'Add mark' on the relevant student. For Running Records compulsory fields for Date Sat, the text level used, self correction ratio and accuracy percentage need to be completed together with comment field. Clicking 'Add Mark' brings the appropriate fields for the assessment listed at the top of the page to enable data entry.

  4. Click 'Save'.

From the English tab for Reading:

  • e-asTTle Reading

  • Marie Clay

  • PAT

  • Probe 2

  • Running Records

  • School Entry Assessment

  • STAR and STAR (2012)

Where STAR has been set up by the staff member assigned Assessment Co-ordinator responsibility in edge; English>Reading links to the relevant assessment page/s. These can be edited by clicking the chevron beside the student's name from your class Assessment pages, however those students who sat the test on the date selected will be editable, and those who sat within the test period but not the same date will be 'greyed out'.

These can be edited when the test 'date sat' is selected for that set of results, and the student's previous school's results will be Read Only.
