JAM

The number modules of JAM (replacing the diagnostic interview 'NumPA') are available for years 1-3. There are 2 JAM assessments available and we've included a summary of the changes from the first edition.

Recording JAM assessments

There are 2 JAM assessments available:

  1. JAM - this is based on the original Recording Sheet which includes 9 Modules

  2. JAM (2nd Ed) - this is based on the revised (as at Sept 2013) Recording Sheet and includes 11 modules

For both versions of the JAM ('Junior Assessment of Mathematics') assessment, results can be added, edited and deleted for individual students multiple times. For each Module select the result from the dropdown which displays the Strategy or Knowledge Stage for each level. To allow the modules to be assessed over more than one occasion, a separate "Date Assessed" can be recorded for each Module. See below for summary of changes.

Assessment Analysis

In Analysis, all the assessment results are displayed for the Student, Class and Year level tab views. This is available to export, print, or view.
