PAT assessments

The following Progressive Achievement Test (PATs) results can be entered in edge.

• Punctuation and Grammar

• Reading Comp. and Reading Vocab.

• Listening Comp.

• Maths

Setting up (Configuration)

All of the PAT assessments can be made available for entering results for your school by selecting the appropriate year level(s) on the Configuration page for each of the assessments. If required where students are not sitting the same test, the Assessment Co-ordinator can click 'Assign Tests' to enable recording of the test form used for each student in the class.

Teachers can then enter results for their class.

Recording results for PAT assessments

From Assessment > Achievement - Assessment > Enter Results, the data entry page will then be available to enter results for students within each teacher’s class (according to appropriate year group).  Any errors made during recording of scores can be fixed by using delete or the backspace key before saving the records. Note the scores are editable where the test results were entered on the date selected. The stanine and scale scores are automatically calculated. 

Entries made within the term which are not on the date sat displayed, are greyed out, and only one set of results can be entered each term. The results of the present academic year applicable to the specific test type will be displayed alongside the date they were entered, by clicking the chevron for more detail.
